James Albert Marris (1898-1918)

Born at Ashford, Mddx, son of Thomas Henry Marris (b.1869) and Mary Elizabeth née COLLINS (b.1868/69).  See "Marris of Banbury, Oxon" on the Other Marris Trees page.

John Edward Marris (1878-1917)

Born at Oldham, Lancs, son of John Marris (1843/44-1898) and Emma née OVERTON (1837/38-1900).  See "Marris of Holton Le Clay, Lincs" on the Other Marris Trees page.

William Marris (1896/97-1915)

Not identified for certain but this was probably Elijah Marris (b.1896) whose name appears on a 1914-18 war memorial at Grimsby Baptist Tabernacle, Victoria Street, Grimsby (since moved to Grimsby Baptist Church, Laceby Road.). Elijah's parents were Tom Marris (b.1865) and Mary Anne née SCOTT (b.1870/71).  See "Marris of Irby upon Humber, Lincs" on the Other Marris Trees page.

Allan Barrington Marris (1890-1916)

Born at Yardley, Warks, son of Charles Marris (1832-1914) and Jessie Sophia Euphemia née SINCLAIR (d.1930). See "Marris of Thornton Curtis, Lincs(1)" on the Other Marris Trees page.

Robert Charles Marris (d.1917)

Since his father was Robert Dudding Marris, one assumes that he descends from an earlier Robert Dudding Marris (b.1818) and Eliza née GILBERT (1817-1901). See "Marris of Wrawby, Lincs" on the Other Marris Trees page.

John Henry Marris (1889/90-1916)

Born at Frodingham, Lincs, son of John Marris (b.1864/65) and Fanny Maria née LAWRENCE (b.1870/71). See "Marris of Keelby(3), Lincs" on the Other Marris Trees page.

William John Marris (1893-1917)

Born at Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia, son of John Thomas Marris (1853-1934) and Eliza Jane née STEVENS (1864-1927). See "Marris of Redbourne, Lincs" on the Other Marris Trees page.

Walter George Marris (1890-1917)

Born at Norwich, Norfolk, married to Ellen M S PLEASANTS (m.1913) and son of Walter Marris (b.1859) and Elizabeth née UNKNOWN (b.1866/67). See "Marris of Norwich, Norfolk" on the Other Marris Trees page.

Horace Frost Marris MC (1889-1917)

Born at Habrough, Lincs, son of Rev. Charles Colquhoun Marris (1854-1933) and Edith née FROST (1855-1940). See under pedigree of "Thomas Marris (1728-94) of Croxton, Lincs". Horace Frost Marris won the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry. Two of Horace's first cousins, who survived the war, were also awarded the Military Cross. They were Edgar Nisbet Marris MC (1887-1944) and Oswald Colquhoun Marris MC (1893-1971). Frank Marris (1896-1917)
